Going on Sydney's garage roof is an exhilarating experience, not only because you're breaking the rules, but because you tower over everything, and you can see the whole neighborhood. It is also a privilege, because Dever is not allowed on the roof without his dad. It is a very good photo booth for taking pictures of Crazy Bones (do not ask). Sydney and I enjoy eating popsicles on hot, humid summer days, while playing truth or dare. Some of the most memorable dares were those involving touching the hot tar on the lower part of the roof. The record is held by Sydney, who actually took the dare. We of course, have been scolded for being on the roof by our neighbors, but of course they were just jealous of how high we were. Maria has often attempted to jump on the neighbor's roof, but has never gotten past the part where she decides to jump. Her excuse is that she's afraid that the roof will cave in with her weight, and Sydney's parents forbid it.

A Fun Day in Indianapolis
On Thursday we woke up at 6:00 am and scarfed down breakfast. We were able to get out of the door by 6:45 because we had dropped Juju off at my grandparents the day before. After we drove for two and a half hours we finally arrived at my mom's workshop with ANDREW PUDEWA the famous writing teacher!!!! She was VERY excited to finally meet him in person.
We continued driving and spotted the five pyramid buildings greeting us. After waiting fifteen minutes we finally got into the Indianapolis Children's Museum parking garage. While standing in line for what seemed like FOREVER we decided to become members. That accomplished we strolled into the Lego exhibit. After we were there for a while Papa and I wanted to go see something else, as Papa put it "We are going to have to drag Dever away from the building section!!!!!". He was NOT kidding! While Papa was reading and Dever building I went off and looked at the comic exhibit. After that I went and stood in line for tickets to the planetarium.
Then we ate lunch and went to the planetarium where with the help of Mr. Rogers we took a look at the night sky. Next we went to the dinosaur exhibit and looked at some sculptures and paintings. Then we went to the video game section and played the first home video game ever made named Pong. After that we were all museumed out so we went and picked up mom and drove home. It was a GREAT day!!!!
