SPAIN WINS THE WORLD CUP!!!!!!

Many many, people will tell you that it was a dirty game, that there were bad calls. BUT in the end the only thing that mattered was Iniesta's goal!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spain won the award for least goals scored to win a world cup. They only scored 8 goals total to win. Also they were the first ever team to win a world cup after losing their first game! They also won the award for most enthusiastic fans!

The Spanish team was also at a disadvantage because the Dutch have been to the World Cup Finals 2 other times. Both times they have been playing the home team. They've never won:( The game was dirty even from the get go. At 14 min. and 30 sec. the first yellow card was given to the Dutch player Van Percy against Spanish player number 11 Capdervila. Another strange call was when the Dutch player De Jong put his foot into the Spanish player Xabi Alonso's chest. Somehow he avoided a red card???

However the game stretched on and on. At the end of the regulation time neither team had scored. That all changed when Andres Iniesta scored the winning goal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GOAL!!!!!!! Of course I was planning on writing more, I even took notes on the game! BUT I am going to save that for the World Wide World Cup Coverage!!
