First Soccer Game

On Saturday Dever's Team, Chicago, (the red team) known to the team as Chicago Fire, played its first game against another team. Dever said "I love playing goalie because you do not have to run around and get tired."  Chicago lost 7-0 but had fun all the same!  While one assistant Coach scurried around taking pictures and chatting with the spectators (Me!), the head coach (Papa) ran around on the field during the first two periods and the other assistant coach (Lizzy) jogged around on the field the last two periods.  In goal Dever saved two shots and let ZERO in. Dever said "I rarely had to pick up the balls because of my GREAT defenders!" According to the team "It was a really fun game!!!" side note: Dever's number is 1

Holy Cross Carnival

Yesterday we went to the Holy Cross carnival. Before we went to the carnival we played with the neighbors. While we were eating Fiona who was coming with us, came over and played with Juju. At the gate of the school my dad met with a soccer mom of one of his soccer kids and gave her daughter her uniform. When we went inside we bought game tickets and I departed from the rest of the group. I went off and played a few games and then finally found Maria. Together we went and played a lot of the games. Everyone enjoyed playing games and we all visited the game that Mary Speckhard was running. I made four tickets playing it. At the end everyone went to the store and paid tickets for goodies. We all were able to get toys we wanted and some of us bought Nora loot because she had not come. The carnival was a blast and we all look forward to Saint Jude's  Carnival which will be coming up soon!
