As most of you know yesterday was an extremely beautiful day outside. Juju, Nora, and I were playing outside when my dad noticed some smoke. We walked down to the end of the ally, and there it was, burning in flames, a pick-up truck. ON FIRE!!! While I quickly ran back to the house and told Dever the flaming news. I grabbed the camera and raced next door to the neighbors and Fiona came back with me. When we fist saw the fire there was 1 truck attempting to put it out, well when we got back there were 2!!! Most of the fire was out, but since it was on a half tank full of gas they had to get the gas out so the tuck wouldn't explode. That took a while and flames kept appearing on the water because of the gas. Quite a crowd had gathered by that time. Luckily the driver was safe because he had smelled the smoke. Towards the end of the fire the fire chief, a fire investigator, and 1 police car arrived. They even had to close off one of the streets so that the hose could hook up to the fire hydrant. That was probably the biggest fire, in our neighborhood, of the year! Now I know that it was april fools day, and some of you probably aren't believing me so........ I'll post some pictures!!
