Colorado Trip Day 3 (Friday 19, 2010)

Waking up we lounged around the condo for about an hour. Finally around 9:39 am we left for Ski Broker, in Fraser. Once we got there we filled out our forms for ski rental. After about a half an hour everyone was all set to go to Mary Jane, the ski resort. Then trouble struck. My boots were uncomfortable so I tried some different ones on. Well, those decided not to fit either so I tried another pair on. I think I tried on about 4 different pairs, until I finally found one that fit. Then we headed off to Mary Jane. After taking a bathroom break we hurried out onto the slopes. Mom and Juju went off to Shoofly, the easiest run in Mary Jane. Dever, Papa, and I went off to a more advanced run. Then we dropped Dever off to ski with my Mom and Juju. Papa and I went up to Parsenn Bowl to go down some black diamonds. Around 4:38 we left the ski resort. When we arrived home Dever went to play the violin, Mom started to cook diner, and I was reading. After a delicious dinner we went down to the hot tub, something that Juju has been wanting to do since my parents told him we were going to Colorado, about 2 months ago. Then Aunt Silvia, Uncle Frank, and Veronica came over to eat dinner and play card games. I spent the night at Veronica's after lots of games of Sleeping Queen's. Then the rest of the Kemme Nash's went to bed to get a much needed rest!

  1. You know the old saying, "There is more than one way to skin a cat"? I made up one that is almost the same, in different wording. "There is more than one way to ski down a mountain!"
